Enjoy an evening under the stars with Taylor Fladgate cocktails and wine as well as sweet treats by Sandrine Wallace at the Maria Mitchell Association's famed Loines Observatory where the stars take over for the night! 

MMA Astronomer, Dr. Regina Jorgenson, will guide you through the constellations and let you peer at distant celestial bodies through our telescopes. Learn more about the constellations, phases of the moon, the planets, and why eclipses happen.

Transportation is available upon request by calling the Maria Mitchell Association at 508-228-9198. 

In the event of inclement weather, the weather date for this event will Saturday May 18, 2024.

This program is appropriate for adults. Pre-registration is recommended as there is an event capacity. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: We understand that plans change! Because we are a small non-profit that benefits from the contributions made by our generous patrons and supporters, cancellations make it more challenging for us to manage program enrollment. Tickets are non-refundable, should you choose to cancel. 

In the event of a complete event or program cancellation due to inclement weather, tickets will be refunded in the amount of $50 and $50 will constitute a tax-deductible donation to the MMA.

All offerings are subject to cancellation by the MMA at any time, with or without notice for reasons deemed necessary by the organization. In the event of a cancellation by us, we will notify registrants and process refunds within 10 days of the original event.
